Coach Dekyron Nicks founded Red Claws Basketball with a vision of creating opportunities for young athletes while building a program centered on character, accountability, and hard work. A former collegiate basketball player at Temple College, Fresno State, and Southeastern Louisiana University, Coach Nicks has dedicated his life to mentoring young athletes and helping them pursue their dreams. He believes every child deserves guidance, opportunity, and a support system that encourages them to succeed both on and off the court. When he's not coaching, Coach Nicks enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and shooting pool during his free time.
